Hi! I am Ashwin Karthikeyan. I am currently a first year PhD student at the University of Toronto under Prof. Anwar Hithnawi.
This page is my attempt to keep my creativity alive and protect my identity; not in the security sense, but in the sense that I fear, without intentional effort, it will get harder to tell what comes from deep within me, and what I’ve been influenced to think. AI can think for/with me if I let it, and even if I only used it to think with me, it’s not my thought, it’s symbiotic. And as if that weren’t enough, social media has changed to be something that I can only sum up as: if you’re not an influencer, you’re there to be influenced. So, this is my effort: I will use AI to accelerate the deployment of my ideas in the website, and for grammar and spelling checks, but the ideas and words you read will be my own.
